Over 15 years we have used Carl for all our building projects including new conservatory, fitted wardrobe, garage and kitchen conversion and renovation of an en suite bathroom.
We've always been delighted by the very high standard of work both by Carl himself and his brought in specialists. He has always closely supervised progress and standards and devotes time to the job in hand rather than flitting from job to job (as some others do). He has a very tight focus on quality and has never delivered anything but the best finish to a job.
In addition, Carl has the ability to think about the logistics of the whole job and can offer very useful ideas about the best route, design etc. This proved helpful to us when we had our kitchen and dining room joined together with relocation of many things including central heating, sewage pipes and electricity. 
Carl has always made sure the site is left clean and tidy with rubbish promptly removed.

Carl worked for us in 1999 at Whitehall farm, Buckley Green, Henley in Arden, Warwickshire. The task was to convert a 16th century barn into living accommodation for my elderly father.
From the day he and his team started work we knew we had chosen the right builder. From the foundations to the roof everything was done to the highest standard and at no time did the team ‘vanish’ to another job.
The end result was nothing short of amazing and my father was able to spend the last twelve years of his life in warmth and comfort on his beloved farm.
Carl was also commissioned to carry out alterations on the main farmhouse- again with superb results.
Apart from a mutually agreed four month break the team were with us for over a year! In that time trust and friendships grew- we shared happiness with the birth of Carls’ daughter and sadness with the loss of his father. Despite all, at no time did the standard of work suffer. The friendships are still firmly in place fifteen years later!
I cannot recommend Carl highly enough- he is worth waiting for and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Carl Harris came to be our builder by way of recommendation from friends who were carrying out a project of similar scale to the one we were undertaking.

Whilst we had to wait some months for Carl to finish their job, when he gave us a start date he stuck to it and immediately set about preparing the site in a systematic, efficient and professional way - an approach and standard that he maintained throughout the construction period. He was utterly reliable and never once failed to turn up or disappeared to do other jobs. Our project was quite extensive and Carl and his team were with us for the best part of a year.

I work from home and was able to observe the build at close quarters. I also kept a comprehensive photographic record of progress – Carl has a copy of this and I am happy for it to be circulated. Carl maintained tight control of his workforce who were unfailingly polite, helpful and considerate. His sub-contractors were equally efficient and had all worked for Carl on successive jobs. They held him in high regard. There was no bad language or blaring radio and he maintained one of the cleanest sites and working environments that I have witnessed in my thirty years as a Chartered Surveyor. Indeed, our Rugby Borough Council building inspector rated Carl as amongst the best builders in the area. Carl rendered his accounts on a monthly basis and we never had cause to challenge the amount we were billed. The project came in within budget, allowing for the extras we agreed to along the way. Carl was flexible in his approach and I greatly valued the suggestions he made along the way to reduce the budget or improve the design.

Since completing our project, I have recommended Carl to a number of our friends and they too have been pleased with the standard of his work. Indeed, if we were to do a similar building project today, Carl Harris would be at the top of our list. We are entirely happy to recommend his services.
